I apologise for the inexplicable downtime that my blog has had over the past few days. It really is a mystery as to why it happened, and indeed why it appears to have fixed itself.

I guess my blog’s a bit like a cat – sometimes it’s happy, willing to be stroked (read: read) and given attention; other times it won’t have anything to do with you. There are two errors that seem to crop up:

• “Typo failed to start properly” – you can often just solve this by refreshing the page until it loads. No idea why this happens.
• The one you may have seen recently. I’ve put an “Uh, something’s buggered up” message now, but before it gave you a cryptic message regarding Apache. I have no idea why this happens either, and neither do the tech support team at my web hosting company. Seems like the best bet is to just wait until it fixes itself.

Also, this is just a further push to press that donate button in the orange box on the right, or go to the donation page itself and do it from there. £732 at the time of writing – come on people, dig deep!
